From Online Beginnings to Our Hagerstown Home
Four years ago, Pink Peony Fabric Shop began as a small Etsy shop with a simple dream: to bring beautiful, high-quality natural-fiber fabrics and creative encouragement to sewists near and far. At the time, I never imagined how quickly our little corner of the internet would grow into a vibrant community.

A Big Step Forward
My husband, Ryan and I decided to grow Pink Peony Creations into a family business, and with the help of both friends and family, we took the leap into a brick-and-mortar shop. On February 22, 2025, that dream took on a new life as we opened the doors of our store right here in Hagerstown, MD. Walking into the shop for the first time—bolts of fabric lined up neatly, fresh coffee brewing in Paula’s Café, and machines ready for their first stitches—was nothing short of surreal.

One of our proudest milestones has been becoming an Authorized Janome Dealer. Not only do we carry a wide range of Janome sewing machines, but we also have a certified Janome tech crew right here at the shop to keep your machines running smoothly. Whether you’re just getting started or looking to upgrade, our goal is to make sure you feel confident in your sewing journey.

This past year, we’ve also:
- Welcomed new makers to our Pink Peony Maker Team
- Expanded our fabric and brand offerings (Moda, Riley Blake, Art Gallery Fabrics, Fableism Supply Co., Aurifil, and more!)
- Launched a full class schedule and Friday Night Sewcials
- We are preparing for the debut of our very own Quilt Scouts Troop 240—a fun quilt club for makers of all levels
- Participated in the Mid-Atlantic Shop Hop 2025, where we met so many new faces and loved seeing your Shop Hop passports filled with stamps!
