Looking for a fun, beginner-friendly project to build your confidence behind the machine? Join instructor Susan Cassutto for a hands-on sewing class where you’ll create your very own pot holder or hot pad — the perfect practical project to sew and use (or gift!) this season.

In this 3.5-hour class, you’ll learn:

• How to cut, layer, and assemble a simple quilted hot pad

• Tips for working with Insul-Bright heat-resistant batting

• Basic quilting and binding techniques for a clean, finished look

Supplies Needed:

• (3) Fat Quarters (choose your favorite fabrics from home or in the shop!)

• We’ll provide the Insul-Bright

• Optional: Purchase a pre-cut kit in-store and enjoy 15% off class supplies

Pink Peony Fabric Shop Sewing Studio — fully equipped with sewing machines, cutting mats, ironing stations, and all the tools you’ll need to learn and create in a friendly, relaxed environment.
